Head over to higgsfield.com and create your account. You'll need this before you can connect anything to Claude. Once you're in, take a look around — you can upload your own products, brand assets, and reference images that Claude will use when generating content for you later.

Upload before you connect
Get your brand assets and product photos uploaded first. Claude will reach into your Higgsfield workspace when generating, so the more reference material in there, the better the output on day one.

What MCP actually is
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for letting AI assistants talk to external tools. The URL you're copying is essentially a doorway — Claude walks through it to call Higgsfield's image and video generators on your behalf.

Customize → Connectors → Add Custom Connector
Now open Claude. Go to Customize (bottom left), then Connectors, then click the + button and select Add Custom Connector. Type "Higgsfield" as the name and paste the MCP link you just copied. Hit save. That's it — Higgsfield is now wired into every Claude conversation.

If Claude doesn't pick it up
Sometimes the first prompt needs a nudge. Just type "Use Higgsfield" in your conversation. That tells Claude to activate the connector and start routing image/video requests through it.

When something doesn't work
Claude isn't using Higgsfield even though it's connected
Type "Use Higgsfield" in the chat. That nudges Claude to activate the connector. Once it routes one request through, it'll keep using it for the rest of the conversation.
The MCP URL won't save in Claude
Make sure you're logged into Higgsfield in the same browser when you copy the URL — it's tied to your account. If Claude rejects the URL, regenerate it from higgsfield.ai/s/mcp-jam.with.ai-prWtBH and paste fresh.
Videos are coming back lower quality than expected
Tell Claude exactly what you want: aspect ratio, length, style references, lighting. Higgsfield follows specific instructions much better than vague ones. "9:16, 8 seconds, cinematic lighting" beats "make it nice."
I'm burning through Higgsfield credits too fast
Ask Claude to generate one variation first, iterate on the prompt, then batch the final version. Don't ask for 50 at once before you've nailed the prompt — that's expensive trial and error.
Can I use this with ChatGPT or other tools?
The MCP connector is for Claude specifically. But you can run both in parallel — Claude + Higgsfield for video and UGC, ChatGPT's image model for static carousels and ad creatives. Together they cover most of what a marketing agency would produce.
